Sarah Beth learned a new skill today. She learned that cows say, "Moo," and if you go into Chik-fil-A dressed like a cow, they will give you a free meal. It was fun to get to participate in this annual event
again this year. My mom had picked up the small cow costume somewhere that Sarah Beth was able to wear and she just happened to have (what doesn't she have?) a good bit of cow fleece that we cut a hole and made a quick cow smock for Savannah and I. We recycled our masks and signs from last year. The girls were very excited to get to see the giant cow! You would have thought Mickey Mouse had entered the building. We got lots of puzzled looks as to why we and others there were dressed as cows. Apparently many customers failed to get the memo or at least read the giant signs on the door when coming in.
It was a fun little outing. I thought about taking the girls to the zoo to take some pictures by the farm setup there, but after realizing it was VERY HOT, I ditched that idea and opted to walk around the air conditioned Target for a little while.
