6 Months

Half a year! Please stay my baby a little longer! You continue to be a delightful addition to our family, with your sweet smiles and calm temperament. It seems like you have made big developmental changes this month.

This past month you...
--Went from trying to reach and grab toys, to grabbing and holding onto toys and putting them in your mouth.
--Liked looking at books.
--Loved playing in the exersaucer and doorway jumper(always produces squeals of delight)
--Loved seeing other babies your size. You try talking to them and it's one of the few things that will get you belly laughing.
--Didn't always take very long naps during the day, but slept very well at night.
--Are outgrowing your swaddle wrap and sleeping unwrapped at the end of your 5th month.
--Loved to see your big sister and have her talk to you.
--Always woke up smiling and happy.
--Your hair started getting thicker and fuzzier, and definitely has a red glow.
--Discovered your toes and that you could put them in your mouth.
--Haven't quite mastered sitting up on your own.
--Sat in the Bumbo seat to be fed.
--You ate rice cereal and oatmeal and tried various vegetables and fruits (sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, peas, green beans, pears, bananas, apple)
--Were supplemented with 6-8 oz of formula every day.
--Seemed to have allergies react with snotty nose the same day it affected Savannah and Mom.
--Wore size 2 diapers and finally filling out 3-6 month clothes.

Since you aren't quite sitting up on your own, I will wait to do more 6 month pictures with you. While you can't sit, you sure can stand. So here is a 6 months part 1 in the backyard.
